Foreign Area Officer Functional Area 48 Proponent Office

Strategic Plans and Policy Functional Area 59 Proponent Office
The Proponent Office is responsible for
officers who are warfighters providing the Army with a highly trained cadre specializing in the development and implementation of national strategic plans and policies; theater strategy and campaign planning; and the evolution of concepts and doctrine for employing military forces at the operational and strategic levels of warfare. U.S. Army Strategic Leadership Education Program
Devoted to identifying and programming those opportunities in the United States and abroad that provide Army leaders with essential skills to lead todays Army in a changing security environment.
